Why Hospital Concrete Pumping Requires Specialized Experience
Hospital construction is not standard commercial work. The scope runs from underground parking to the roof in a single program, with high-volume multi-pump pours at every level. Line pumps are often the right tool for constrained active-campus sites because they allow us to place concrete through a hose run without staging a boom truck in a restricted area.
How far in advance should we book Premier for a hospital program?
Hospital programs require several months of lead time at minimum, and larger programs benefit from contact during the tender phase. Equipment phasing across a full hospital build, placing boom installation scheduling, and our commitments to other active programs all require advance planning. We can provide pricing, equipment lists, and prequalification documentation during your tender preparation if you contact us early in the process.
Can you run multiple pumps simultaneously on a large hospital build?
Yes. Multi-pump dispatch is standard practice on large hospital programs. We assign separate pumps to different sides of the building so multiple pour zones run at the same time, each with a dedicated operator. At South Niagara Hospital we ran four placing booms simultaneously in addition to boom pump trucks on ground-level activity. We have the fleet depth to support this without compromising other active programs.
What documentation can you provide for a hospital prequalification package?
We provide WSIB clearance certificates, ACPA operator certifications, proof of insurance, company safety documentation, and project references including South Niagara Hospital and Ontario Western Surgical Tower. All documentation is tracked internally and can be sent to site immediately if an operator changes last minute. If your prequalification package has specific requirements, contact us and we will confirm what we can provide.
