Emergency Concrete Pumping Ontario

Your pump did not show. Your equipment is down. Concrete trucks are on the way. Call Premier. We dispatch available equipment same day across Southern Ontario and do everything we can to save your pour.

What Emergency Concrete Pumping Means at Premier Pump?

When your project needs precise pumping in tight or hard-to-reach spaces, our concrete pumps are the go-to choice. Also known as concrete trailer pumps, these compact, towable units pump concrete through a series of connected hoses and steel pipes — allowing us to run hundreds of feet of line to reach the pour site. Unlike our boom pumps, which use a large hydraulic arm for overhead placement, concrete pumpings operate at ground level, making them ideal for navigating tight access, long distances, and complex job sites.

We run 2”, 3”, and 4” lines to handle any mix or pour location, including low slump, fiber-reinforced, and specialty mixes with the right hose and tip setup. This flexibility allows us to work efficiently in alleyways, backyards, basements, and interior pours while maintaining safety and cleanliness with fast setup and minimal disruption to surrounding areas.

For larger or high-reach projects, explore our boom pump services for maximum coverage.

Situations We Handle as Emergency Dispatches Excel

Our concrete pumping services are the smart choice for jobs where precision, flexibility, and reach matter most. Unlike boom pumps, which require overhead clearance and have fixed reach limitations, concrete pumps can be positioned almost anywhere and extended with hoses to reach the exact pour location — even if it’s around corners, inside buildings, or below ground level.

Here are some of the most common applications where our concrete pump trailers outperform other pumping methods:

  • Basement Floors & Underpinning Jobs – Perfect for tight access sites where a boom truck can’t get close. We run hoses directly into the basement for a clean, controlled pour without damaging landscaping or property.

  • Indoor Pools – Easily navigate through narrow entrances or around existing structures to place concrete exactly where it’s needed.

  • Pre-Cast Floor Toppings – Deliver smooth, consistent coverage for large slab areas, ensuring even distribution and proper finishing.

  • Machine Bases – Handle specialty mixes with steel or nylon fibers to support heavy industrial equipment installations.

  • Tunnel Repairs – Reach deep underground with long hose runs, even in confined spaces, while maintaining pump pressure and flow rate.

  • Column & Wall Fills (“Bottom-Up” Pours) – Use our reducing hoses and wall pipe systems for fast, clean vertical pours without air pockets or segregation.

  • Masonry Block Fill – Our 2” tip hose attachment makes block fill work safer and more efficient, reducing labour and speeding up the process.

Our concrete pumps are also used for retaining wall footings, staircases, balcony restorations, and agricultural projects like barn and silo bases.

If your project demands precise placement without the footprint of larger equipment, our concrete pumping services are your solution. Learn more about our specialized project solutions to see how we’ve tackled challenging pours across Southern Ontario.

Equipment Available for Emergency Dispatch

When you call in an emergency, we figure out what fits your site and dispatch accordingly. Most callers say they will take anything, and we understand that, but we take a few minutes to confirm what size equipment your site can actually accommodate before we roll a truck.

Concrete Trailer Pumps are the most flexible option for emergency dispatch. If we have a concrete pumping near your location and it can reach your pour area through a hose run, we can often get it to you faster than a full boom truck. Line pumps handle foundations, basements, slabs, and ICF pours in tight or constrained sites.

Boom Pump Trucks (32M to 65M) cover any pour where a concrete pump cannot reach or where placement speed is critical. We confirm boom size against your site access and staging area before dispatching. Sending a 50M boom to a site that can only fit a 32M costs everyone time.

Nearest Available Unit: For emergency dispatches, we check which operator and which piece of equipment is closest to your site and can realistically make it in time to save the pour. If an operator is finishing a pour nearby and can reroute, that is almost always faster than calling someone in from the yard.

What’s Included with our Emergency Concrete Pumps

When you call, here is what we do:
1. Triage call to understand your situation: what happened, what site, what size pour, what concrete is already on its way
2. Immediate advice to call your ready-mix supplier and put incoming truck deliveries on hold while we work the dispatch
3. Dispatch check across our fleet and operators to find the closest available unit for your location
4. Honest assessment of whether we can get a pump to you in time or whether rescheduling is the better call

We also have Standard WSIB clearance and ACPA operator certification documentation on every truck we send.

How an Emergency Dispatch Works

Call Us Now

Tell us what is happening: your location, what type of pour, how much concrete is on site or incoming, and what size pump you had booked. The more we know in the first two minutes, the faster we can work the dispatch.

Pause Your Concrete Deliveries

While we are working on finding you a pump, call your ready-mix supplier and ask them to hold or delay any trucks that have not left the plant yet. This buys time. Concrete sitting in a drum is not ideal, but it is far better than concrete arriving with nothing to pump it.

Pumping

We confirm the closest available operator and equipment, give you an honest ETA, and dispatch. If the equipment is already on a site nearby, we coordinate directly with that operator. If we are pulling from the yard, we give you a realistic timeline so you can decide whether to wait or reschedule.

Cleanup

Our operator arrives, confirms site access and pump setup, and gets concrete moving. Standard rate applies from the moment the pump arrives on site. No surcharge, no emergency fee. When the pour is done, documentation is available for your file.

Related Concrete Pumping Services

We also offer shotcrete, a specialized method of applying concrete with our high-pressure boom pumps. Instead of pouring concrete into forms, shotcrete is sprayed at high velocity through a hose and specialized nozzle, allowing it to bond tightly to almost any surface — even vertical walls and overhead structures.

This technique is ideal for complex shapes, curved designs, and hard-to-reach areas where traditional formwork isn’t practical.

Common applications for our shotcrete service include:

  • Swimming pool walls – Our most popular use, creating smooth, durable walls that are ready for finishing.

  • Retaining walls – Perfect for irregular shapes and steep terrain.

  • Structural repairs – Restores and strengthens existing concrete surfaces.

  • Tunnels & culverts – Rapid coverage for confined spaces.

Whether you’re building a new pool, repairing a retaining wall, or working on a specialized infrastructure project, our shotcrete process ensures a strong, seamless finish every time.

Contact us to learn more about how our shotcrete services can work for your next project.

Why Contractors Call Premier When Things Go Wrong

From pouring concrete in the rain to complex foundation pumping, we work on:

  • New home builds & subdivisions

  • High-rise concrete buildings (CIBC Square Project)

  • Warehouse slabs & commercial floors

  • Bridge decks & abutments

  • Industrial tank bases & agricultural projects (Agricultural Pumping)

What counts as an emergency concrete pumping situation?

We’ve worked on projects across every corner of Ontario, from downtown high-rises to suburban developments. Our deep knowledge of local site conditions and building codes means your pour goes smoothly, every time.

Fleet depth across Southern Ontario means we have a realistic chance of finding an available unit near your site, not just near our yard. When a closer operator can reroute, we make that call.
Every operator we send carries WSIB coverage, ACPA certification, and has completed annual safety training including working at heights and site-specific safety requirements. Emergency dispatch does not mean cutting corners on compliance.
We carry boom pumps from 20M to 65M and trailer concrete pumpings. If your site can only fit a 32M, we send a 32M. If you need a 65M for a high-rise pour, we check availability before making a promise we cannot keep.
35 years across Southern Ontario means we have handled pump failures, no-shows, and booking mistakes before. We are not rattled by emergency calls and we know what questions to ask to get your pour back on track as fast as possible.

FAQs About Emergency Concrete Pumping in Ontario

Common questions from contractors and site managers dealing with a pump emergency in Ontario.
What counts as an emergency concrete pumping situation?

The most common emergency situations we handle are: a pump company that did not show up on pour day, equipment that broke down on site with concrete already arriving, and pours where no one confirmed the booking so no pump was ordered. We also get calls from existing clients when an operator called in sick or when a mechanical issue sidelined the pump that was scheduled. If concrete is on the way and you do not have a pump, call us.

No. Our standard hourly rate with minimum applies on every emergency dispatch, the same as a scheduled pour. You are already dealing with a difficult situation. We are not going to add a surcharge on top of it.

Call us immediately, then call your ready-mix supplier and ask them to hold any trucks that have not left the plant. Concrete sitting in a drum is manageable. Concrete arriving on site with nothing to pump it is not. We will work the dispatch on our end while you buy time on yours. The faster you call, the more options we have.

It depends on where our nearest available equipment is on the day you call and whether the travel time makes it realistic to save your pour. If we have a pump finishing a job in Guelph and you are in Guelph, we can often reroute that operator directly. If the nearest available unit is an hour away and your pour window is closing, we will tell you honestly whether it makes sense to wait or whether rescheduling is the better call.

We cannot guarantee same-day service in every situation. If our fleet is fully committed on the day you call, we will tell you that honestly and help you think through your options. What we can guarantee is that we will do everything we can to find you a pump, we will give you an honest assessment of what is possible, and we will not charge extra if we do get a unit to you.

Every minute counts on pour day. Call 519-942-3410 or toll-free 1-866-942-3410. Tell us your location, your pour type, and what happened. We will work the dispatch and give you an honest answer on what we can do.
